Preschool
All aboard! Epiphany Lutheran Preschool is chugging down the track again. We have started our second year of preschool and are feeling so blessed as we welcome back many friends from last year as well as getting to know new friends for this year. We are almost completely full in each of the classrooms and look forward to a year full of wonderful experiences as we explore this next stage of the children’s learning here at Epiphany.
In these first couple weeks of preschool we have already been able to involve the families of the preschool in helping provide baby clothing and baby equipment for a young expectant mother. The children have also made cards for us to take to the “grandparents” that we adopted last year.
We have several children who are on our scholarship list as we continue to try to build the Ron Ewerth Scholarship Fund. We will be doing several fundraising activities to put money into that fund in order to provide assistance for families in need who otherwise would not be able to provide their children with a Christian based early learning experience.
As we move forward with our program we find ourselves reaching out to the congregation for help with items that we can use to enrich the program. We have always been blessed with the support of the congregation and are so thankful for your generosity. Donations for the preschool can be left in the box marked preschool that is in the breezeway.
Items might include: paper towel rolls, zip lock bags, water paint, paper towels, preschool games, cars & trucks, outdoor toys, magazines, play dough, construction paper, egg cartons, markers, baby wipes, poster paints, doll clothing, craft sticks, plastic table cloths, mittens, crayons, tissue paper, previously loved books, previously loved toys, paint drying racks, sweaters (child sized), paper napkins, small paper cups, dress-up clothing, hand sanitizer, individually packaged snack items.
Thank you for the support and for all the prayers for our continued blessings as our program grows. For more information about our program, please call Jenny Lyons or Mona Longbottom at 678-602-5939.
