Women’s Ministries
WINGS (Women in God’s Service)
We are an informal fellowship/service group that meets first Sunday of every month (we are off for the summer). Our main service project for the year was sending care packages to Epiphany’s college students. Beginning in 2010, we will also provide care packages for those men and women of our congregation who are currently serving in the military.
After a short summer break, WINGS met once again on Sunday, August 1st. Plans were made to send the first “WE Care” packages to our college students for the 2010-2011 school year. The women of WINGS are excited to keep these young adults connected to their home church. If you would like to help assemble these packages, please feel free to join us at our next meeting on Sunday, September 12 at 9:45am in the Library. If you are unable to join us but would like to contribute to the packages, please call the church office for ideas. Hope to see you on the 12th!

WELCA (Women of the ELCA)
As a community of women created in the image of God,called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our calling, engage in ministry and action and promote healing and wholeness in the Church, society and the world.
WELCA will resume meeting September 7 at 9:30 am in Room 6 for Bible Study and fellowship. Won’t you please come and join us? We will begin new studies from the Lutheran Woman magazine, determine actions for the next 9 months, and enjoy each other’s company. Please bring with you boxed dry cereal for the Rockdale Food Bank donation. Hope to see you there!

We are a relatively new group and meet every Thursday in the room next to the library at 7:00 pm. We started out by studying women in the Bible and have had Pastor Nathan agree to come in occasionally when we have a list of theological questions to ask of an expert. He has already visited the group and we so enjoyed asking him questions and getting his knowledgeable responses.
Come join us – There are about 8 so far! We have a great time learning more about the Bible.
