God Reaches Out Wednesday (GROW)

Our Educational Series Continues in February

Topic:  Book of Faith – Gospel of St. Mark

Please come and join us on Wednesdays as we continue together our exploration of the witness of the Envangelist Mark.  Our current session is continuing the exploration of the unique beginning of the Gospel and will conclude on February 15th.  We will not meet for GROW on Ash Wednesday, February 22.  During Lent, beginning Wednesday, February 29, we will meet at 7:30 pm following the Lent Worship Service.  We will begin a new study titled “Making Sense of the Cross”.  This will be a great opportunity for us to experience the cross and its meaning in our lives.

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm for a quick and simple supper followed by class at 6:30 pm.  It is only on the first Wednesday that we share a meal.  Otherwise, the class always begins at 6:30 pm and runs for an hour.  Often class members stay longer to talk about the class, current events, and simply to connect to one another.

All are invited.  Please come and join us as we study God’s word to us.

February 1           Dinner at 6:00 pm, class at 6:30 pm

February 8 & 15   Class only at 6:30 pm

February 22  No class.  Ash Wednesday service at 7:00 pm

February 29  Soup & Sandwiches at 6:00 pm, worship at 7:00 pm, class at 7:30 pm (Please note the later class time).

Adult Sunday School

Pastor John is continuing his class on the Gospel of Mark, looking at how Jesus is revealed to be God’s good news to us.  This class meets in classroom 8 at 10:00 am, and all adtuls are welcome.  Please join us!
