SUNDAY MORNING ADULT CLASS: Join us as we continue our alternating series of classes at 9 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall on: (1) Contradictions in the Bible – What do we do when passages do not line up? and (2) The Not-So-Minor Prophets – An overview of the last twelve books of the Old Testament. This series will continue into the coming school year.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Men’s Bible Study meets weekly on Thursday mornings at 8:00 a.m. at the church in the fellowship hall.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: The Women’s Bible Study this year will meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 9:30am and will be studying Luther’s Small Catechism. Come join us as we learn about our Lutheran faith.
WEDDING CEREMONY: The entire Epiphany Lutheran Church congregation is invited to the wedding and reception of Bruce Hefner and Barbara Cryder on Sunday, October 20th at 10 a.m. The wedding ceremony will take place during the regular worship service. Please come out and join us for this special occasion and to congratulate the newlyweds!
OCTOBERFEST: In honor of Oktoberfest, we will be having a German-themed potluck on Sunday, October 27th after the 10:00 service. Brats, hotdogs and buns will be provided. Bring a dish that harmonizes with the overall fall/harvest theme. We need side dishes, salads, and desserts. A freewill offering will be taken to cover the cost of the brats.
ALL SAINTS SUNDAY: We are going to put out luminaries for the All Saints celebration. We have found plastic bags and candles with timers so they can be displayed for a week starting Wednesday, October 30 through Wednesday, November 6. There will be bags and markers on the table in the Narthex so you can start to remember your loved ones. There will also be information to order supplies and a box for donations if you would like us to order them. If you have questions, please see Riki DeLamar or Evelyn Brown.
NEW GROUP FORMING! Every Step Walking Fellowship combines physical walking with faith & fellowship to encourage a healthy living. Good for body, mind, heart and spirit. Weekly walks will include 20 minutes of safe & gentle indoor walking, 20 minutes of devotion, sharing & prayer, and an optional 20-minute “extra mile” of moderate outdoor walking. Open to all regardless of physical limitations. Weekly walks will meet at the Fellowship Hall on Thursday mornings @ 9:30AM starting Sept. 19.
