ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING PART 2 has been rescheduled to Sunday, February 15 following worship service.
CHILI COOK OFF is scheduled for Sunday, February 15. We need chili cooks, judges, and people willing to bring side dishes. For dessert, we are also planning a chocolate chip cookie exhibition. Bakers are encouraged to bring two dozen cookies made from their favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe.
SOUPER BOWL OF CARING: we are collecting donations (cans of soup or chili or money) again this year. All of our proceeds go directly to Rockdale Emergency Relief. Please leave your donations on the table in the narthex or give a financial donation and mark your envelope accordingly. We are also collecting other food items for the month of February to include — canned vegetables, cereal, peanut butter and jelly. Collection bins will be in the Narthex. As always, thanks for your generous support.
EVERY STEP WALKING FELLOWSHIP: Join us for ESWF weekly walks on Thursdays, 9:30 AM in the Fellowship Hall.
ADULT FORUM SERIES: WHAT STEPS CAN I TAKE? The Ladder of the Beatitudes: Starting next week, February 8, at 9 a.m., in rooms 7-9, please join us for our new class for the Lenten season, as we look at the Beatitudes as rungs of a ladder, leading us to be the people that God calls us to be.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Women’s Bible Study meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at 9:30 a.m. in the library. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, January 6.
MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Men’s Bible Study meets weekly on Thursday mornings at 8 a.m. at the church in the fellowship hall. Our next meeting will be on Thursday, January 8.
SUNDAY COFFEE HOUR: We encourage you to drop in for a coffee and fellowship hour anytime from 9-9:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday. Refreshments are served.
BREAKFAST IS SERVED! Join us for breakfast on the second Sunday of each month at 9 a.m. and let’s start the morning fellowshipping together. A freewill offering will be collected.
