SOUPER BOWL OF CARING THIS SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 4th

The Souper Bowl of Caring began in 1990 with a simple prayer from a single youth group “Lord, as we enjoy the Super Bowl football game, help us to be mindful of those without even a bowl of soup to eat.”  Since that day, more than $110 million has been raised for local charities across the country through Super Bowl of Caring.  We will be collecting donations ($1.00 and a can of soup or Chili) before and after worship services.  All proceeds will go directly to the Rockdale Food Bank.   If you would like to read more about this event visit www.souperbowl.org

Thank you for your continued support!

The Annual Congregational Meeting Part II will convene this Sunday, January 28th immediately following the 11:00 AM worship service. We will be approving our Annual Report and learning more about “Transformation Ministry” from the transition team.  Following the meeting we will have a time of fellowship with a “potluck” lunch so please bring a favorite dish to share.
Mark your calendar and plan to attend!  Thank you.
